Lisa Sanders Luscombe is an ESL teacher, teacher trainer, curriculum designer, and program manager at the Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS). Her areas of specialty are training and curriculum design for content-based courses in nuclear security, nonproliferation, biosafety & biosecurity, export controls, international relations, diplomacy, and English for academic and professional purposes. Her research interests are in content-based instruction; language for conflict resolution and consensus; cross-cultural communication and language issues.
