Aims & Scope
Azerbaijan in the World is ADA’s premium biweekly online publication issued since February 2008 and featuring articles, interviews and reviews on a wide variety of issues in Azerbaijani foreign policy and international relations. Focusing on both history and current political, economic and social developments in and around Azerbaijan, ADA Biweekly offers a unique blend of in-depth theory-informed analysis and policy-oriented research often suggesting for a discussion topics understudied both in academic and policy-making circles.
Azerbaijan in the World is guided and inspired by a multi-purpose mission. It is committed to procreate a new generation of Azerbaijani scholars capable of producing high quality research and policy-relevant analysis on issues pertaining to Azerbaijan’s foreign policy. Predicating its efforts on the talents, potential and enthusiasm of this emerging generation of future leaders, ADA Biweekly is keen to reach out to the international community, both academic and policy-making, with a unique knowledge on Azerbaijan born from within a new, and still in formation, cognitive structure the country found itself developing after the breakdown of the Cold-war-time paradigmatic worldview. In doing so, ADA Biweekly looks to encourage the widest academic and policy-relevant research on Azerbaijan amongst local and international academia and think-tanks.
